Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dinner In 30 Minutes, a website operated by Grisham Goldman Enterprises LLC (doing business as Dinner In 30 Minutes), collects, uses, and shares information when you use this site. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to run the site and, if you ask for them, to send you email:
- Your email address, only if you give it to us for the Notes On The Fridge newsletter or for a printable recipe sent by email. We keep it with the date you gave it, which of the two it came from, a private code that makes your unsubscribe link work, a scrambled copy of the code in your printable recipe link (the link works for seven days), and the dates you confirm and unsubscribe. You confirm your address by pressing the button on the page the link in the email opens.
- Server logs. The site runs on Cloudflare, which handles every request to it. Cloudflare, not us, keeps standard request logs (the page asked for, the time, your IP address, and your browser type) to run and protect its network, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We keep no request logs of our own.
- Messages you send us. If you write to hello@dinnerin30minutes.com, we keep your message and your email address so we can answer.
- Nothing that tracks you. The site has no accounts or sign-in, runs no advertising or analytics, and sets no cookies for visitors. If you tick off ingredients on a recipe, that list stays in your own browser on your device and never reaches us.
Videos on the site are YouTube's. A video player loads from YouTube only when you press play, as described in Section 3a.
If you sign up for Notes On The Fridge or ask for a printable recipe by email, we keep your email address as the list above says.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to run the site, send you the newsletter and printable recipe emails you asked for, remember that you unsubscribed so we never email you again, and answer your messages. We do not use your email address for anything unrelated to those.
3. How We Share Information
We share information with a small set of service providers (subprocessors) that help us run the site:
- Cloudflare for hosting the site, for the database that holds the subscriber list, and for storing the photos.
- SendGrid for sending our email.
- Google, through Gmail, for the mailbox that receives messages sent to hello@dinnerin30minutes.com.
- Google (YouTube API Services) for showing our videos and understanding our channel's audience, as described in Section 3a below.
We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of our site and users.
3a. Google and YouTube API Services
This site, and the people who run it for Dinner In 30 Minutes, use YouTube API Services in two ways, both read only. The site shows the channel's latest videos from the channel's public feed and, when a key is set, the YouTube Data API; it asks for the list about once an hour and keeps it for up to an hour. The channel's owner may also use the YouTube Analytics API to understand the channel's own audience. When the channel's owner grants that access through Google sign-in, we store the resulting access credential as a secret of the site's host, use it only to read, and never share it with any other party. No data from any other person's Google account is accessed, collected, or stored. A video player loads from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you press play; from then on YouTube may set cookies, and Google's Privacy Policy applies. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy. By using the videos on this site you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. A person who has granted access can revoke it at any time from the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions, in addition to asking us to delete the stored credential at hello@dinnerin30minutes.com.
4. Data Retention
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe we keep the address with the date you unsubscribed, so we never email you again; if you ask us to delete it, we delete it. We keep no request logs; Cloudflare keeps its own, as Section 1 says. We keep messages sent to us for as long as we need them to answer you and for a reasonable period afterward.
5. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. For example, the site's own database account can add a signup, record that you confirmed, and record an unsubscribe, and it cannot read the list of addresses back or change anything else on it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information appropriately.
6. Your Choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by writing to hello@dinnerin30minutes.com. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the unsubscribe link in each one, which unsubscribes you in one click on the page it opens.
7. Children
Dinner In 30 Minutes is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
8. International Users
Dinner In 30 Minutes is operated in the United States and our service providers process information in the United States and may process it elsewhere. If you use the site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
10. Contact
